I started changing the motion of the Particle class and incorporated sine wave motion from the previous week’s lessons. The particle system started spinning in a circle which reminded of me of the night sky so I decided to build off that

There have been quite a few celestial influences these past few weeks, with the lunar new year, celebrations just ended this past Sunday, on the first full moon of the lunar calendar

photo taken through a telescope, however, not from the new year
The inspiration for the night sky also could have been influenced by my assignment for my animatronics class after having designed a motor mount with the sun and the moon
I was hoping to have just particles in the upper half of the canvas and not have any particles show up in the bottom half. However, I was confused why when I set < height/2, particles appear in the bottom half, but when > height /2 there is a clean cut and no particles show up in the upper half

Then I created a moon class that inherited features of the Particle class to have the same movement but a different shaped object

I thought about the moon change to a fish or when the moon hits the water it becomes a fish. I tried using polar coordinates and just the y-axis but couldn’t figure out how to get the moon to disappear once it crosses the lower half, so I just kept the moon rotating 360º
