After watching the mutual attraction video, I was interested in adding lines to mutually attracting bodies
Initially I played around by adding gravity, drag, and noise(). The object would start off small and expand overtime. Eventually lines would eventually take over the screen.

Then I set the edges so that when the object hit an edge, it would bounce back

The object reminded me of the old Windows screensaver that would bounce all over and change shape

Then I added an attractive force to the mouse. When the object would moved towards the mouse, I started to see how the object resembled a like a living creature. When the lines. would poke out farther, that movement reminded me of the appendages of an amoeba

I shrank the objects size to be more microscopic looking

Lots to still figure out
The object would start out at a super tiny shape and gradually increase in size. Over time, the points would get farther and farther apart and the the object would get bigger and bigger. When I made it smaller, the movers would move really fast, making the amoeba unrealistic. I played around with the constrains for the distance Sq of the mover, but I couldn’t figure out how to make the moving object a constant size.
